Should we just butt out?
My brother-In-Law and his girlfreind of about 6 months fight constantly! They both abuse drugs and alcohol. We know they fight constantly because they bothare always bruised and bloodied. I had no idea people really used the excuses: I fell, I walked into the door and I tripped. She has hand prints up and down her arms and thighs and on her stomach. She had a swollen eye last month. And he got his ear ring ripped out last week and always has claw marks and scratches coving his arms and face. It kills me to stand by knowing what is going on and do nothing.
Should I stay out of it? The entire family knows what is going on. You'd be blind if you didn't notice. |
